Levias

Levias, the sky whale from The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword.

So, I had the idea for this while I was making the griffin, since I made a lot of the feathers while playing Skyward Sword with a friend. I saw Levias, and the first thing I said was "he seems suited to being made out of beads". however, it was pointed out that I still had a lot of griffin to go so I had to put this off until one weekend when I had run out of griffin coloured beads and thought I'd do this instead. I think I am pleased with how it came out, I learnt a bit about doing fur and I finally settled on a way of attaching the perpendicular beads with less wire, so that's something.

Oddly, I can't find a fanart category for crafts. Maybe it's just me....

Made with size 11 and 8 seed beads and coloured copper wire.
