This is somewhat delayed, since I fell ill and then got swept up in the ghost project, but here it goes.
The other stallholders were very friendly, and gave me lots of advice, the main thing being to keep trying. There weren't many people there and apparently this improves later in the year. The main other thing was, as expected, most people weren't that interested in marine invertebrates or prehistoric fish, so for next time I am aiming to make some more tetrapods (since having at least one mammal won't hurt)
I did get some interesting comments though, and several people jumped backwards or shuddered when they noticed the insects. The fruit flies generated a lot of confusion, people recognised that they were fruit flies but couldn't quite understand why anyone would want to make bead versions of them.
I have another craft fair on the 3rd of October, so hopefully I will be able to make a few more things for then.
In other news, I am opening requests since I need more motivation to draw. All the art I have been doing lately has been Revelation Space fanart, which I have been unsure about posting.

Welcome new watchers!
I'm sorry I've not got around to responding to you all yet, I've had so many messages since getting the DD I've been struggling to keep up with them all (I still can't quite believe that happened)
I'm so glad so many of you like my art enough to want to see more of it, and I hope you enjoy what I produce. Thanks so much for all the favs, comments and everthing, I'm really amazed at how positive it's all been.
New Patreon Goal: A Webcomic!
So for a while I have had vague plans to colaborate on a webcomic based on a tabletop rpg I played in. It was a Black Crusade game in the 40k setting and had a lot of great one liners and plenty of situations that were hilarious to visualise so it seemed like it would translate quite well to a comic format. Being based on a game that has finished also has the advantage of it being alrready written and of finite duration, which makes it that much more achievable a project. We got a lot of material together, sorted out a storyline and major plot moments, sketched some characters but that's as far as it got.
But that is where you come in! With a
Some Thoughts
Today marks the end of my first month of seriously trying to make a living through art. It has been fun, with many success and many more mistakes, so I thought it might be interesting to put together a review of what I have learned so far. Mostly for myself but who knows, maybe some of you will find it interesting as well.
The main thing I have come away with is that it might, maybe, be possible to support myself through art. For the last few years I have done occasional commissions and made the odd sale on Etsy, but this month I have really worked at it - I have spent 130 hours doing art this month, not quite enough to be equivalent to a fu
